Electronic Concepts

Building electronic circuits can be both a fun and daunting task, especially if you are coming from a field that has very little to do with electronic engineering. Other than the sensing/expression recipes and coding concepts available here (and elsewhere), it helps to understand some fundamentals of electronic engineering in order to build more robust, reliable circuits. Too many a time have we all experienced a breadboard prototytpe failing at the last hour in our early exposure to this craft, and I hope this section will cover some strategies in anticipating such issues when building circuits.

The individual articles here are written in such a way to support the ‘base-level’ sensing/expression recipes.

HEADS UP!

I am rebuilding all content from the ground up as I had to migrate to a new CMS. As a result, I’m using this opportunity to improve the organisation of the content. All older content has been archived, but will slowly return!
